During our Christmas stay at this hotel, we had a great experience. The location was wonderful, surrounded by beautiful farmland and a stunning gorge nearby. We especially loved seeing the adorable alpacas roaming around the property. The room was cute, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like free organic toiletries and refreshments. Additionally, the host was friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.
While our overall stay was excellent, there were a few minor downsides. The Dome can get quite hot, even with a fan provided.

The highlight of my stay at this accommodation in Waikino was the beautiful garden with its barbecue facilities. It was like having my own little outdoor sanctuary, perfect for grilling up a delicious meal and enjoying the scenic mountain views. It added an extra level of relaxation and enjoyment to my trip!

I recently stayed at The Dome in Waikino for a weekend retreat. The cabin was nestled in a peaceful bush location, offering a stunning view and a truly relaxing atmosphere. What stood out the most was the warmth and hospitality of the host. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, offering rides to nearby attractions and ensuring all our needs were met. The attention to detail in the room was impressive, with everything we could possibly need provided. Meeting the friendly alpacas, goats, and resident dogs was a delightful bonus. I highly recommend this unique spot to all nature and animal lovers. Will definitely be coming back!
Strongly recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed the garden with a barbecue - perfect for burning the sausages. And thank goodness for private parking, otherwise where would I have parked my fancy car?
Oh, just loved the absence of any mention about a swimming pool. How am I supposed to show off my swimsuit collection?
